Felt patterns for children, gifts, and keepsakes
From the first time I got my hands on felt, I was instantly hooked. In my opinion, no material is more versatile or forgiving. It’s a great entry point when learning to sew, and the results are wonderful, no matter your skill level. Startup costs for someone interested in trying are very inexpensive, and to achieve a higher quality finish with wool felt are only marginally more. The possibilities for what you can create are endless, limited only by your imagination or inspiration found around you.
I love rainy days. Sitting down with a big craft project while the cool rain taps on your window is pure magic. That fresh smell in the air fuels my creativity, inspires my projects, and brings me a sense of calm; I couldn’t appreciate it more.
My name is Daveanna: I’m a wife, mother of two, artist, gamer, and nature enthusiast. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, where my appreciation for the natural world blossomed. My life’s journey has taken me all over the country, to which I’m grateful, but couldn’t be happier to be back home where I started.
These days, I’m bursting at the seams with creative ideas, and I want to share them with as many people as I can. I want to give you projects and fun things that will allow you to captivate the magic of a rainy day. Whether my content appeals to you or someone you know, I hope it brings joy to you in some way. Recognizing the beautiful moments in life can make you that much more appreciative of what you have.
